It was no surprise to the family when their 3 year old wearing Ghungroos was dancing to the classical tune of Odissi dance form. The family had already named the kid as a Born Dancer. Dancing feet and eyes to the rhythm of classical music was the first step towards the blooming dreams of being a great dancer.
It was the Fitness and Health that inspired me to be associated with various dance forms that helps one not to stay fit physically but also happy and satisfied mentally which is most important to lead a happy and healthy life. ZUMBA being the first fitness form that was mastered and lead to not only learning but also in teaching it to the juniors, along with Zumba, BOLLYSWEAT(fitness dance form created by Delhi Dance Academy) being another form that inspired in training and teaching. Such Fitness forms lead to the opening of gateway to the dance form like CONTEMPRORARY, BALLET, JAZZ, SALSA and HIPHOP. Having good health and excellent physical stamina as well as an ability to work as a part of a team with other dancers, performers, artists and actors was absorbed, learned and showcased in the most effective and efficient manner.
CONTEMPRORARY dance performances in broadway musical stage show called "Rhythm of Love" performed at FICCII, for the play ROMEO JULIET directed by Gaurav Sharma that incuded Contemprorary and Jazz dance form. Various FLASHMOBS namely DEVIL CIRCUIT and FUNK FUSION performed at Select city mall, Saket.
Once ample training in western dance form and the various opportunitines gained and effectively utilised to showcase the learnings, the next stepping stone to the dance form was BOLLYWOOD FREESTYLE. As it is said that it might be difficult to take out dance from an Indian but its next to impossible to take out Indian from the dance. Bollywood dance form is one of the form which is majorly gaining recognition globallly and many of professional dancing shows are highly motivating it to be recognized more. This is one form that comes out naturally and as effortlessly as it is presented by me. Under the training of the great SHIAMAK DAVAR and experience of working for the well known musical dance show Zangoora performed at Kindom of Dreams, Gurgoan, the dance form was ehanced, polished and presented in its best.
Learning and performing were just the being the true sense of an artist is to explore and expand its wings of talent and present it out and large. Live performances, stage shows, competitions, event performances were just the beginning, the exploring began by working with choreographers and assisting them in various.
